Westcliffe - My first Rodeo - literally

We had a lazy morning - the air was fresh and we enjoyed the views.
Then we went into town with Carolina.

Westcliffe is soooo cute!!

There was even an estate sale and I got a vintage cowboy hat - Rod's first hat he bought when at college - beaver and made in Oklahoma … I am in love with it …. It cost 20 Dollars only - a steal.

Then we had Lunch with amazing sandwiches, admired the little town a bit more before driving back ti the house.

Westcliffe has a huge community of Amish people and it was interesting to see them and to chat with them.

We had not much time at the house to get back to the Rodeo - now properly dressed with boots and jeans.

Rodeo started at 6:30 pm and it was awesome!!!

Food and drink, amazing weather and good seats … I had so much fun ……

We did not do the full music show and were home by 10 pm - tired ….
