Petanque this morning, then met Helen & Mike for Sunday Lunch before heading into Huddersfield for a concert. Strangely enough for a Sunday, parking proved to be a slight problem - but Roy dropped us off, found an alternative and still made it to his seat in plenty of time. 

An interesting mix of pieces, all of which were new to me, and all performed beautifully by the orchestra of Opera North!
A thrilling sea journey with Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade, alongside Ravel's Piano Concerto in G major featuring soloist Steven Osborne, and 'subito con forza' (suddenly, with power) by South Korean-born composer Chin!
