Slate Quarry

Off to lunch with good friends. Roast pork with crackling. Delicious. We had a good catch up, chatting through the afternoon and didn’t leave until it was starting to get dark.

I scooped up Charmaine en route and she had time to show me some of her latest work in her studio. I was particular impressed with this painting of a Welsh slate quarry. 

It’s interesting- Charmaine has developed a style that is similar to her late husband Jerry’s pictures. But it’s now her own style and we all approve of it. She is showing in a few exhibitions coming up soon. Good stuff.
