James MacLeod

Lovely weekend in Aberdeen with friends. Today we visited Duthie Park, where we saw the sculpture of James MacLeod. He was the joint recipient of the Nobel prize, for the discovery of insulin. Without him and his colleagues, my type 1 diabetic husband and my diabetic cat wouldn't be here.

We also had a wander round the Winter Gardens which were so interesting.
