Old n New (My Favourite Things)

Due to his mum having to go into a care home these lovely old wooden draws have come to me and I always wanted them in my studio. I’m a bit weird and like old and new furniture in the same place. I suppose having a love of photography and keeping moments in time makes me appreciate the past and times that will never come back, except in our memories.
So many of the younger generation have empty grey rooms in theirs houses with no feeling or memories in them.
Maybe it’s because I’ve lost all of my family apart from Mum and I treasure years gone by.
Anyway I have lovingly vacuumed washed and polished these pieces today and am in the middle of finding the correct position for them.
I’ll put a pic up tomorrow of their new places and some of my favourite vintage things.
