Fun on the beach

I did not get up for the sunrise this morning despite it being a good one. I was feeling so tired yesterday, like shaky tired and a bit nauseous, and so I decided I needed to sleep in - so I woke up at 7am after a good night's sleep.

It was a stunning day today, bright blue skies, sunshine and not too cold. After breakfast we took Xena to Brancaster Beach where she had a great time chasing her ball. We walked along the beach to the creek to see the seals, there were a few playing in the water. Xena was so busy with her ball that she did not even notice them! 

Then we went back to the house, had coffees and started doing some laundry of the bedding and towels. It was such a lovely day it was a pity we had to cut short our time on the beach. 

We went out to lunch at a restaurant new to us, in Burnham Market, and it was excellent - we both had venison and it was delicious. Then back home to pack up to drive home again.

We had a very easy journey home, three hours later we were driving up to our house. Tommy and Inca were there and they had a good weekend too, being productive with Inca studying.

It has been a lovely weekend with some beautiful blue skies and sunshine. Back to rain and grey skies in Surrey!
