Sunday roast

Woke up feeling quite sore as the course of tramadol has run its course. I wasn’t sure whether to suffer in silence or ask for oral morphine as suggested by someone yesterday. I can confirm that the morphine worked and I have had a much better day.
An X-ray taken of my spine this evening will let us know tomorrow how well it has knitted.
