Cope-ing

I have been reading Wendy Cope’s poetry books in recent weeks. I’ve read some of her poems online or in anthologies, but thoughts of what I might choose for last Friday (I eventually chose Robert Burns, a total contrast, but right for the day) got me exploring further, and I’ve now got four of her collections, which I am really enjoying. Other poets are of course available, but Wendy Cope just fits my mood and temper at the moment.

Thanks for all the comments and support, which I wasn’t really expecting. I am way behind looking at others journals I’m afraid, hopefully I’ll catch up soon.
