Sunday Drive

We got lost on the winding farm roads in South County, about a half hour from home, on our way back from the annual Pajaro Valley Quilt Show. Patchwork fields stitched together with the skeletons of trees and the rhythm of fences. Bands of intense color—everything waking up after a wet winter.
