Settlers of Catan

My brother-in-law turned 70 on 22nd but because his health is frail and he was feeling good on Wednesday we had our part of the celebrations then. A board game and a new restaurant - one of those places where you can design your own noodle bowl (you pay by the weight). A lot of fun, although the protracted celebrations spread across several days (with his 98 year old dad in the nursing home, and then his sons and grandson) seem to have taken it out of him, and he’s had a few bad days.

He loved the canvas I made of a childhood photo and is really enjoying the spotify subscription my sister gave him to enjoy the music he loves so much (a great idea now his disease limits his mobility so much).
