Herald of Spring

I planted these miniature daffs in the garden many years ago; they were originally sold in a supermarket as a cheap and cheerful houseplant.  Every year since they have popped up, along with a pond heaving with frogspawn, to mark the return of lighter, warmer days. Spring is on its way!
