The Feast Day of Saint Porphyry.
This is a superbly mild Monday in Rishton. It is 7c but feels like 4c, Google weather says. The normal housework is underway, and it is 65f in the conservatory. The grey wheelie bin was emptied this morning. Having two cats, we have regular amounts of cat litter to put in our wheelie bin and it is difficult not to struggle with a full bin before the two weeks are up. We recycle card and paper and glass and plastic and that all works effectively as the Council service is praiseworthy.
I continue to read and knit in the afternoon.
The canal was quiet today and no sign of Tabby cat.
