A walk in Sutton Park…..
…….this morning.
There is a cool wind today, and as we walked amongst the trees along the sometimes very muddy paths. It blew in the top most branches and made an intermittent roaring sound.
I have always loved trees.
There is just something very calming about being amongst these tall ancient giants, standing amidst their carpets of last years’ foliage, some of which is still dry, most of which is being reduced to leaf mould, with that distinctive smell.
The wind skimmed over the waters of the large pools, making rippled patterns, which appeared then dispersed at regular intervals.
Home to make some lunch.
I’m still catching up with your blips.
