Hitting the high note!

Another dry day ..... a bit cooler with a stronger & chillier easterly wind!

We had a usual wander "up the road" ..... not so many of the little birds about as yesterday but still saw quite a few'

We have been hearing a Song Thrush singing most times we've been walking but haven't been able to see it!

Today we found it ..... high in the tree but not too far away! 

Managed to get this photo of it in full song .... shame you aren't able to hear it too.

The water levels had receded a little though the fields were still badly waterlogged. Hope it stays dry for a few more days!
