I rented an apartment in Harrogate for a few days so we travelled by train with the tickets I got in a recent sale. In spite of having to change from platform 17c to 2a in Leeds, the journey went pretty smoothly. There are no trains on Friday when we are due to return home, but I’ve worked out that we can get back to Sheffield in 3 bus journeys- and of course using our bus passes, it won’t cost a penny :-)
