Golden tassels

I dealt with a list of emails in the morning. They needed doing so I just had to ignore the sunshine outside. It’s been shining for three days in a row now and that is quite something!
Friend J and I had a get together over a cup of ginger tea for a couple of hours in the afternoon as we haven’t had a proper chat for ages. I enjoyed the breadth of our chat but don’t think I have made much progress in making sense of the universe yet.
The hazel catkins seem particularly plentiful this year so I couldn’t resist this close shot of some of them while walking Bertie later in the afternoon.
