Wild Day at the Beach

Lots of wind and periods of rain.   We waited for a sun break and headed for the beach…. It was such biting wind, it almost knocked me over…..H is chasing my hat which blew off. !      We weren’t there long.   Went to the bakery to get a sandwich in the sun break and came back in  a drenching  hailstorm!    Happy to be inside and cozy.  Lovely to watch the sky.   Had a nap.  Even considered going for a swim in the pool but couldn’t muster the energy so we had another wee walk to watch the waves with some sun on them  and the little birds ( sanderlings?) . Saw 1 person with 1 dog.    All clouded up after so we headed out for another excellent seafood dinner at a restaurant  filled with just locals.  , to look back before getting in the car and see there was a sunset after all!   Our place up on the right.   I think we are the only car here!    Weird.    they want  to give us a big discount to stay.  Not too many crazy winter visitors    But we’re moving east on the Columbia River tomorrow. 
All good and relaxing.
