Red light, spells danger........
.............do you remember that song sung by Billy Ocean?
I have just had a phone call from Vic, although he is still feeling rough. He saw five doctors at the hospital and after having lot's of tests, they didn't know what was wrong with him. He came home and felt so ill yesterday, he phoned his doctor and had an appointment yesterday afternoon. She gave him antibiotics, as she didn't know what was wrong either. He is still in pain, and is throwing up after eating. Poor Vic.
Our new next door neighbours are having new windows fitted , and this afternoon, the window fitter was using a can of expanding foam to seal the gaps between the window & the wall, when the can exploded . It went all over J's car parked on our drive and the fitter came around and was using a solvent to try and remove the sticky foam, which dries like gum off our car. Up until this point, we didn't know, as he didn't knock our door, to say what had happened. J went out and had to act fast, as the solvent could have done permanent damage to the paint work. J spent the next hour washing the car with his own cleaning equipment. The fitter was apologetic, as it was an accident, but our neighbour was more concerned with his garage door. J, as you can imagine, was not amused.
