Pottery Class

Up early to make a couple batches of melts and some testers candles and then I headed down to Stobo for a wee chill.

Back home to find a load of material deliveries had arrived - now I can start making up my bubble baths and new fragrance wash and lotions in time for the Mother's Day trade.

This evening it was week 2 of my pottery class. The one on the left us a thumb pot I made last week and have painted with 'slip' this week and scraped in some patterns (scrofito). The one on the right is a coil pot I'm still working on. You literally roll sausages of clay and coil them around and up to build a pot.

Such a lovely class, so relaxing and the other ladies are great company.

When I got home just now Cosmo got up and came to greet me - that's huge progress - hurrah :)
