Leafy Surrey

"Leafy" is often used to describe affluent suburbia, but when it comes to Surrey it is an apt description. Surrey is said to be the most wooded county in England and this view looking east along the Weald at the foot of the North Downs would seem to bear that out.

The picture was taken from the terrace of a beautiful house I visited this afternoon to teach Mah-jong to three beginners. We had a good session, but all the time there was this great view in the background, almost a distraction!
