Alexandria Park Community School

Another day of sort-of work including trying to trace the origin of a poem in the Australian Railway Union’s paper, Railroad, in the 1930s. Some of the terms used - banker, rumper and cards being exempt - led me to an American stonecutters’ journal. So while I was drawn to the former railway workshops at Eveleigh this evening, Alexandria Park Community School on the way home was more colourful.

Thanks for hosting AndrewNZ.
