well, just across the road for the actual stone, but arriving here at the dam was delighted to see and hear Lapwings on the islands, Red deer in the pasture, an Ermine running at their feet, standing out as he was still completely white, Partridge, Mallard, Kites and Buzzards. Perhaps the stoat is right as there is still plenty of snow on the tops.
