Not quite enough
Fk went to a cadets meeting about 'Road Marching' next weekend in Chalkwell. He loves a bit of drill work, so this is right up his street and the weeks prelims will be over. MrK and I went to the local farmshop/apple orchards for a little shopping and coffee in the beeshed. Surprisingly, both were closed so a small tesco shop and a coffee in a garden centre was a mediocre substitute, but lovely to have time together as always.
I spent a couple of hours grouting the heart, but didn't quite make enough. Some of the small pieces, millefiori, came unstuck so they need 24hrs for the glue to harden before I grout again. Pleased though. It's a gift for the counsellor, which she's probably not able to accept, but if they just hang it somewhere in the building, that should be fine.
Call the midwife was a hard watch tonight. Tears before bed.
