Eating Crow

I got quite excited when I looked out the window. We don't tend to see crows here for some strange reason so I assumed this was a raven and called Marian. Raven's do nest very close and maybe that's the reason we don't see crows. Anyway, it wasn't, it was a bl**dy crow so I chased it off after I'd taken a photo or two. I quite like the rain shining off his back.

It's been a day of packing, weighing my bags and making decisions about what to leave out. It certainly saves time (and the long drive) to fly to Scotland but I'm not very good at packing light.
