This may not seem important to many but our septic tank was emptied today.  I have always found folk who carry out this work very cheery and full of anecdotes about their work.  He hadn't emptied our type of tank before and was interested in how it worked.  I wish I could have been more helpful.   In another part of the garden, the birds were active and the blipped robin was easy to spot.
