Toots in Solitude

A promise in the sky

Yes, actually not quite as cold just a slight nip in the air.
Donald had come to me saying that he'd lost his wallet so I said I'd go to his flat to look for it. Well, I searched everywhere, high and low, in every pocket and eventually after a lot of time had to give up and tell him that I just couldn't see it. 'Did you see a red bath scrubbing mitt? he said. So up I went again and there poked in the bookshelf to the back was the red mitt, and tucked inside was the wallet. It was amazing that he had suddenly remembered, if I'd put it there I would never have remembered myself. I think from now on I'm keeping a hold of his wallet.
In the afternoon we took a trip to the library to return books and take a few more out. Donald loves scouting around the library and he's reserved two more books as well.
We dropped into the local Sainsburys and were able to carry two cartons of milk and other miscellaneous goods in Donalds walker basket, handy that, taking the weight.
