Barril Beach

Another cycle ride - feeling rather bruised after too many bumpy roads!
We went out to Barril beach at Tavira. This was a fishing community way back when and used to bring in the tuna which swam the coast line. But no longer.
This cemetery of anchors is the remnants and reminders of the fishing nets that were put out to catch the tuna.
It’s now a tourist attraction - beach, cafes, museum, little train.
