GO GREEN SPIDERS!

That was the team Princess and The Smallest Boy were in. I think. And despite my cynicism yesterday I thoroughly enjoyed today's sports day. Especially the unplanned and somewhat chaotic mayhem that was the running races at the end.

Ally (and the rest of year 5) were in charge of running events. Ally is shown here demonstrating how to do the hurdles. Which were about 10cm high. He was very good and Lily payed close attention.

Elsewhere I continued my good motherliness and did gardening with Red this afternoon. It is fairly miraculous that he is not either buried under the patio or drowned in the now stagnant swimming pool. I would not recommend him as a gardeners assistant just yet!
