Our day started with no hot water, but soon got better as Jacob and I met Maureen for a tasty brunch at The Pantry.

Jacob had his nap and then we ran through the rain to the Rowley's where Eva was putting the finishing touches on her cheese scones. Jacob seemed very grown up as he was soon brave enough to go and explore Eva's room on his own and find toys. It is quite strange/refreshing to eat lunch without him in the room, though he did pop back to indulge in he tasty scones too!

It was lovely to see Eva asking Jacob to join in her picnic - I think this is a peek into the future as an old married couple when Eva tells Jacob where to sit and what to eat. I'm sure I heard him say "yes dear" as he gazed at her adoringly! Even sweeter were Eva's encouraging cheers for "Jabob" to follow her crawling through the tunnel. I was very proud of his brave efforts. Anna as always lay quietly next to them and smiled her way through being walked over and hit with ribbons.

We then walked up to Chester st for Jacob to enjoy dinner with his adoring grandparents and a warm bath. He showed off his guitar skills and played at being worlds strongest boy as he pulled his new, very heavy, truck around.
