Leighton Library

The old Leighton Library has been shut and under scaffolding for some time: today, the scaffolding is gone!
I have a soft spot for this place, as I worked there as a volunteer during my university days; keen to spruce up that CV.
To say I suffered from 'imposter syndrome' would be an understatement. 'Training' consisted of listening to other volunteers speaking to visitors, and 'picking it all up as you go along'. I can't remember how much I 'picked up', but I certainly 'made up', and no-one seemed to notice. 
It's a fascinating and richly historical spot, deserving a better guide than I was!
