A classical promotion

A pleasant surprise arriving at Waterloo this afternoon - a group of classical musicians on a dais and other members of the group on the station floor with their conductor (see extra photo). I assumed at first that it was an upmarket busking event until someone thrust a Magnum classic ice cream into my hand. Whilst it wasn't really ice cream weather, I'd never refuse a Magnum! And how I could refuse a second one when I got back a few hours later for my return journey. Despite all the noise, hustle and bustle of one of the country's busiest stations, the music could be heard and enjoyed. A tuneful and tasty interlude.
