MMC24 :: Day 29 :: Abstract
Thanks for all of the comments, stars and hearts on yesterday’s house sparrow.
Today’s major activity centered around seeing my shoulder doctor. He thinks that the pain is being caused by a problem with the rotator cuff. I had surgery on this one in 2002, during which a piece of bone was removed. He gave me an injection and some home exercises. Glad that it wasn’t physical therapy.
While I was waiting for him to come into the exam room, I noticed marks on the floor created by his rolling stool. Everything looks like a potential blip to me. For the last day of the mono month challenge, I thought a little craziness would be in order.
On the way home, I picked up a pastry as a treat. It’s a nice day so I had it with a cup of coffee on the patio. There weren’t any birds around because a hawk was circling the entire time I was out there .
Thanks to Skeena for keeping the Mono Month Challenge alive each year.
In other news…for Leap Day, Shell gas station rewards members received $.20 off each gallon. That was a nice little bonus and perfect timing because I needed some fuel.

“Darling, I think the new dryer is shrinking my clothes.”
“No, sweetie, that was the fridge.”
