traffic jam

Made some progress with my presentation. I should get it done in time for the conference next week. We also had a visit from a technician to check out one of our compute nodes. He swapped the motherboard and some RAM modules. He didn't have the required spare CPU. Anyway, it was quite cool to see the CPU out. It's absolutely huge (see extra). Ah well, he will be back tomorrow. 

The BVG was on strike today (buses, trams and U Bahn). The S Bahn is run by DB. For some strange reason it wasn't all that packed. The roads were hopeless though.

Had a colleague over for dinner and playing some games. It was a nice evening...
