Oooops

Well, I took no photos today at all other than a 'finished' set of the bags from yesterday.  I really like them much better with macrame string closures rather than with the blue ribbon so now here they are with the game pieces inside.. delighted to have finished them completely now. 

Our book club this month decided to read Pride and Prejudice.. ugh.. really??  I had decided not to bother acquiring the book and instead listened to it unabridged on bbc sounds. I absolutely know that I would not have read it and even listening it I was struggling!  It is a story I know well but honestly I find the language is tiresome and laboured. ..not my bag!!   most of today was finishing listening to the last 20 chapters.. I was a bit bored at chapter 5 but then I found there were 61 chapters!!!  Didn't I do well!!!  
I heard this evening that a house belonging to a centenarian in the village was broken into in the night.. poor old thing she is very shaken. I don't think they stole anything but it has frightened her.  She has a key safe outside her door for the carers to come and go and that was jemmied off the wall and smashed open then they entered using the key.. so beware if you have key safes.. they are not always a good idea.
