Tree

Lovely to be back in Lake Wānaka.

Walked around, found the places we stayed at 20 & 13 years ago. The town has really grown.

There’s a famous tree with its own hashtag #ThatWanakaTree (apparently it sprouted from a fence post). We thought we’d found it but there was no one looking at it, turns out it wasn’t the one!

Great afternoon exploring, seeing what’s different. It may have expanded but it is still a beautiful place - turquoise lake surrounded by mountains.
