Grey Heron

There were 7 heron met me at the entrance to the park today. There had been 4 on the tenement roof waiting for me. The other 3 were on the dovecote. I started feeding them then made my way to the slope, it is much easier to feed them all on the slope. I got them all fed feeding the crows as I went. I then went over to feed the dogs (I have got to know the regular owners and they keep their dogs on the lead until I have finished). The dogs all wait for a biscuit or two. Made my way to the clearing to use up what was left of the fish, fed the two coots biscuits and made for home. The shot is the little female.
