Preemptive strike

It’s not quite growing season around here yet, although the grass is beginning to show signs of greening. We have Bermuda grass around due to the heat, although it’s more of a green weed than grass as I have always known it. It spreads by putting out shoots above and below the surface and it really wants to expand everywhere it’s not supposed to be: flower borders, driveway, sidewalks. I have been out with the edger the last couple of days, trying to stay ahead of it. I am starting to feel like Elmer Fudd.
