Mote Park Trees

To mark Joe Tree Day with thanks to this far thinking individual whose idea gave us Blipfoto.

Guess what, we awoke to heavy rain again which continued for a couple of hours before morphing into heavy showers, the last of which we were caught in as we went out walking at 3.45pm.

At least the sun came out after that giving an interesting cloudscape and a rainbow to boot.

Susan went to be with her mum this morning which I put in some more time on the book I’m creating on the Kent & East Sussex Railway for Susan’s great nephew.

Over in California Landon completed 33 laps of the athletics track as part of fundraising for his school. We sponsored him $1 a lap as did his mum and dad and other granny.

Guess what’s on the menu this evening. Friday nights come around too quickly
