West Atlantic Airlines

A lovely calm day and night.  Mostly sunny, but there was a couple of showers in the late afternoon and teatime.  Clear and cold tonight. 

Up at 5am, early shift in the airport.  A busy day after the gale yesterday, starting with offshore check-ins.  The rest of the day was mostly meeting and boarding flights.  I finished early, popped by Laura's on my way home.  I had planned to go to the Bressay Up Helly Aa this evening, the rain put me off, turns out it was a good night after all.  Oh well, a quiet evening at home, walkies with Sammy and then an early night. 

An unusual arrival at the airport this morning, West Atlantic Airlines. They've come to help cover our Royal Mail charters for a few days, not sure what's happened to our normal aircraft.  Nice to see a different airline on stand, and the crew were fine too.  West Atlantic ATR 72 - GCLXT, taken at Sumburgh Airport.
