New Sign

The cross country highway Interstate 40, goes from Wilmington, North Carolina to Barstow, California.  I've photographed the signs at both ends.  A picture of the sign in Wilmington may be seen in the link above.  Over the years, it has been stolen in 4 times.  The highway officials had said that they will not replace the sign in Wilmington.  Instead, the sign pictured above, much bigger and substantial, including other local cities has been erected.  I pulled over to the side to make this image today.
