Blooms!

I slept in a bit longer than hubby. We worked on our summer vacations again. We were able to get the Navy Lodge closer to Virginia Beach for Brooklyn’s soccer tournament next weekend. We’ll have to leave early to get back for Parker’s 16th birthday party. We think our niece has found lodging for us in TN for hubby’s annual TN family reunion. All nine of us who plan to attend will be in a very nice AirBNB close to the venue. We usually stay in Chattanooga about 40 miles away. This will give us more visiting time. Renee sent us Parker’s travel lacrosse tournament info. We have to find lodging for the last weekend in June near Philadelphia. With all the crime in Philly, we may just stay with the team knowing it has been checked for safety. We found a KOA campground near Charlottesville that has sites available when we need them in July. It will be an hour drive to the fields near Orange but it is the best lodging deal we could find right after July 4th. Jamie’s family gave us a KOA gift card for Christmas a few years so there will be very little cost to us. Add 10 days each month to be in WV and we’ll only be home long enough to cut grass between trips. Brooklyn may have another tournament for us to attend and later we hope to go to the Powhatan campground. Life is good. Have to enjoy it before we get seriously ill or too dang old. I rearranged two closets today. Now all our jigsaw puzzles are upstairs in one location and our medical contraptions (foot, neck and back massagers, etc) are in my closet for easy access. Also found some items for the charity shop. As hubby was leaving to run errands, including taking Chase to his orthodontist appointment, I found these crocus blooming in my front garden. Hurray!
