Was in the Botanics this lunchtime and I was aware that they had started to excavate near the 1960’s glass houses and saw this notice on the fence surrounding a mature monkey puzzle tree, it is aimed primarily for the contractors as the fence is not accessible for the public.

The extra was this wee chap who giving it laldy but if he was expecting a crumb or two his optimism was not rewarded, I keep thinking I should take some crumbs down to the Gardens but I never remember on the way out the door
