It Blizzarded….

…And in the late afternoon the sun came out. (I do love blue snow).

Sadly though, today, the snow put paid to our plans of going to visit family. (I had cooked a meal to take and everything).
As so often happens in our locale, a little early peep through the curtains tells you all is well outside. No snow. So you write a little text to put your visitees mind to rest, ‘the forecast was quite wrong’, you say. (With a smiley face). And then, before you have even opened the curtains properly, or pressed, ‘send’, a blizzard is underway outside and the road has white stripes where there was tarmac a few moments ago. No way out of town.
