Last Day of our "Car Trip by Water"

Left for home this morning.  Lots of heavy rain and I thought I’d document the car with snow flurries at a rest stop on the way.  (only flurries…)    Since this was a car trip staying next to water, I needed a photo of the Willamette River which this big ugly hotel is close to (you can see water if you look large…right over the Hotel parking sign…the public parking was a block away from the hotel.    And there’s a dull picture of a couple of the bridges taken near the front of the hotel looking south.   Because of course we couldn’t see anything from our room.   Pretty grey.   Including our car. 
But a fine trip in spite of the horrible weather… (would have been water everyday everywhere!)   but enough for now!   Happy to sleep in my own bed tonight.

Extra...just a few of Portland... The Portland Building by Michael Graves,  the river and another bridge just north,   the Black artists of Oregon art exhibit full of school kids,  a downtown street, the excellent  restaurant and those crows flocking in at twilight.
