This Bud's For You

Magnolias have been gloriously budding all over town, while the sweet little  Magnolia in my front yard has been taking her sweet little time to awaken.  Every day I'd inspect her branches and the progress of  her slowly swelling buds. I braved the rain today to check on her progress and was rewarded with the first bud beginning to unfurl!

Brightly pink, still tightly furled
Magnolia awakes.
