King Teapot

Warm inside his woolly crown,
King Teapot never wears a frown.
Nothing ever gets him down
that a cuppa cannot lift.

A cosy crowns this jolly pot,
helps brew the tea and keep it hot.
Every cuppa hits the spot:
King Teapot's happy gift!

After I'd knitted crowns for both grandchildren, their mum suggested that the pattern, adapted, would make a great tea-cosy. I couldn't agree more, and here it is, modelled by King Teapot for Silly Saturday, the first in March. (I should have saved my carrot fingers for today, but not to worry! Thanks for all the nice reactions to that one!)

Showers and sunny intervals today. Can't be bad!
