Collecting

…is the topic of the extraordinary exhibition at Frankfurt Museum of Applied Arts, on the south bank of the river Main (called Museums’ Shore). Because of the nice weather the city was full of people, and we failed to find a parking space in one of the large central lots, but by chance snatched a roadside space limited to one hour’s stay (at 4 € ~ 3.45 £). Originally intended to visit the Loriot exhibition on his 100th birthday, we changed our plans because of a long queue, and crowds inside visible from outdoors.
