Looking down.

Early but not quite so early. No birdseed so went to Brigend first thing. Lay on the sofa breakfasting and watching workmen climbing up and down next door's scaffolding to repair the roof. Knitted then gardened in the afternoon. Met Emma, Courtney and their new puppy who was sweet and  very interested in this new stranger.   Afterwards I pored over a new Chiltern Seeds catalogue which has just arrived. Had a bit of a panic as I had washed woollens in the machine and when the programme ended the door wouldn't open. This has happened once before recently.  The machine is absolutely ancient. I tried everything I could think of to no avail then it changed its mind and decided to open after all.  Think it's time to have a new one.
