Tarts

A slow day at work and unsettled / unsettling weather!

I had a number cancelled appointments and no shows (not unusual when the weather is iffy!) which makes for a long day. I hadn’t actually slept very well either, so it was difficult to stay awake.

This evening was my lovely manager’s leaving do.She had a joint leaving party with another colleague, Tom, at our service manager’s house in Lewes. I will miss Jane enormously; she went out of her way to be accommodating when my mum was ill / dying, and she is just an amazing person anyway.

I got home in time for a very late dinner, and to try one of Noo’s jam / lemon curd tarts.
