Hedgehog Highway

Ian and I had a wander around the new housing development that is coming on apace near us.  Last time we walked by we were trying to work out why all the fences had holes in them.  Today, the hedgehog surrounds and the signage solved the mystery.

It is a great idea.  We often have hedgehogs in our garden and it is lovely to see them scurrying about and building their nests.

We managed to avoid getting too wet when we were out. There were a few huge downpours throughout the day but after eating a massive cooked breakfast we thought we he better risk the weather and walk a sausage or two off.
